Just came across this website after looking at other colon cleansing products.

I notice that there is mention of a pill. I have a hard time with pills and if they are too big, I won't bother. Can someone tell me if the pills are big and hard to swallow or if they're coated or what?

Dawn writes:

Ann51, there are no pills -- the support products come in vegi capsules and are easy to swallow. The main colon cleanse product is a powder you scoop out and mix into your drink. Very easy and convenient. There is no tea to steep or anything else that takes a long while. Easy, Easy!

Kathy writes:

I have a question that I have not seen posted. How long do you have to drink this stuff?

Betty Cross writes:

I will be ordering my Dr.floras right now. SO I can get started on this.I will back to tell everyone my good news.

Carolyn writes:

Kathy, you take the Dr. Floras cleanse for 15 days. I took mine for about 20 days since I was only doing two of the drinks each day for most of the days. That worked really well for me. We ordered more and not my husband is doing the cleanse after seeing how much my health improved.

Tracy writes:

Hi, came across your blog via researching the acai websites, I really enjoyed reading everyone's comments and your answers, I agree with you, regarding the oxygen products, have only been using them twice a week for about four weeks and each time the results are the same...diarrhea..am really disappointed as a bottle of 120 was very costly...Ive decided to stop these and try DrFloras, I will get back to after the program...thanks

Stephanie writes:

Dawn,

Honestly what do you get out of this? How do we know this product is legit? How can we know that the product is not making the mucoid plaque?

I really want to try it; but I am so skeptical!

Dawn writes:

Stephanie,

First, it is fantastic that I can earn a living helping others with their health. That is what I get out of it.

Next, let's put the mucoid plaque part aside for the moment. Regardless of what people believe about mucoid plaque, there are millions of people that have cleansed and felt so much better after wards. Many people have been suffering from some form of ailment for years, and those symptoms often go away after cleansing.

People have claimed to no longer get ill after purifying their body through cleansing, or they notice immediate improvements in memory, in their skin, in their focus, etc. The ability to have deep, restful sleep is restored in many people who constantly wake up tired and exhausted, day-after-day.

So yes, there are those people that don't cleanse and will be against it, and then there are those that have cleansed and KNOW how their lives have improved after wards.

Isn't it a no-brainer though? I mean, if the DrFloras Cleansing Kit doesn't work for you, send it back and get your money refunded (you have one year to do this!)

And remember, the cleansing also involves getting rid of parasites which is scientifically proven that most of us have (even our pets have to get inoculated.)

I don't know HOW you want me to prove to you that the product works. I say it works... countless others say it works... hundreds of sites say it works. What did you have in mind? Remember, it's not my product -- I just endorse it. It's a product that I, and thousands of others, have used to great effect. There are testimonials all over the net. There are people who were so happy with their results that the called in and left voice mail at the DrFloras company (they have put these online at their site.)

You have to make the decision for yourself. Do you want to take a chance with another product that is likely not going to work for you, or do you want to use the one product that is currently the buzz of the town?

Go order some now. Then come back here and post your comments so that others can read your results.

Stove writes:

Dawn, you said that it is a 60 day cleanse but I'm confused. Can you tell me the break down, because I know that the actual cleanse is only 15 days and then you take the other supplements as well. I thought some of the supplements were taken in addition to the cleanse so I don't see how it adds up to 60 days. Thank you!

Dawn writes:

Stove, the breakdown is as follows:

Internal Cleanse - 15 days
Parasite Cleanse - 15 days
Probiotic Replenishment - 30 days.

You do one after the other, so it lasts 60 days. You can take the cleanse and the parasite defense at the same time, but some people might get gassy or feel stomach discomfort. If not, you can shave 15 days.

Renee writes:

After getting on here and reading all the reviews about this product, I decided to try it!

For any of you who are still on the fence about wether or not to try it...I strongly encourage you to.

This is my day 10 and I am feeling great!!!

I too was skeptical, but I took a chance and tried and boy am I glad I did. I just today passed the infamous mucoid plaque...never usually get excited about my bowel movements...but this was another great way of seeing the product is working!

I am sleeping better too. I didn't realize that the waste in my body would have anything to do with that! I also feel like I have more energy...that is a huge plus!

So, I would tell everybody to try it. I am already thinking about how often I am going to want to go through the cleanse. I do not want to let all of that junk build up in there again.

Thanks Dawn for all of the information!

KC writes:

I really want to try this, but, here are my questions: I work (office work) is this going to give me stomachache or am I going to go to the bathroom often? if I go, is it going to be a huge mess that maybe will no be able to flush it or clog the toilet.

Thank you
KC

Dawn writes:

KC, this has been answered here. The photos of mucoid plaque you see look larger than they really are (they are zoomed in.) There's no discomfort, no clogging of toilets! HAHA.

Most people never have any kind of stomach ache from what I have heard, and the DrFloras cleanse will get your body into a regular mode where you're going to the bathroom once or twice per day, but at regular time intervals, so you will be able to control this yourself, and not have IT control you, like oxygen based cleanses force you into.

I just ordered my Dr. Floras Ultimate Kit, I will let you know the outcome.

ctalabam writes:

Hi

I tried the master cleanser by Burroughs but have not experienced what the pictures have shown. I am in my 6th day and fed up with not getting a good cleanse fasting!!!! Did I undestand correctly that this product can be taken WITH FOOD and still see results in 4 or so days???

Dawn writes:

Ctalabama, we are all discussing the DrFloras Colon Cleanse brand, not the Master Cleanser product which you say you are using. If you want to get good results, stop using other products and switch to the DrFloras brand. It is as simple as that.

Donna writes:

Hi Dawn! I received my 2 bottles of the cleanse today and was anxious to start. I am now very disappointed after reading the jar, as it says that if you do not have a daily Bowel Movement, you should not start with this product, but should start with the Bowel Regulator product first.

I guess I missed that on both yours and Dr. Floras website. Is it really necessary if you are not having regular BM's to do the regulator first? I had read all the comments on your website and never saw anyone mention this, so maybe it's really not necessary?

Donna writes:

I'm so disappointed that I didn't receive a response from you or that you didn't answer my question here on your website. I ordered quite a bit of product and gave you as the reference so you will get credit. I'm not trying to be too negative, but I really am disappointed you didn't respond in some way. I submitted my question last weekend.

Dawn writes:

Donna, as mentioned at the beginning of my comment form, Comments are not added in real-time (due to spam), and I can only get to them when I have time (this is not my full time job.) Sorry for the delay.

Now to answer your question:

If you are not going to do the Bowel Regulator, then I would do the following:

1) Start with just one serving per day, and do this until you are having 1 BM per day.

2) Make CERTAIN that you drink a lot of water. Drink your shake and then drink a BIG glass of water immediately following, and be sure to drink lots of water throughout the day (even more if you are active.)

Once you are regular, then you can go to 2 servings per day, and then 3 servings per day.

The problem lots of people make is they are constipated to start with and then they start taking the cleanse and don't drink enough water, and that makes things worse.

MsLady writes:

Can drfloras cleanse and hoodia prime be used at the same time ?

Dawn writes:

MsLady, yes, you can take them together, but not at the same time. The DrFloras cleanse will absorb any of the Hoodia Prime you take if you do them together. It will do this with any other supplement or medication you take.

So take your Hoodia Prime product for appetite suppression at a time other than when you take the DrFloras cleanse shake.

Kat writes:

Dawn,

When i stumbled upon the site while looking for information about Evercleanse I was a little skeptical at first. But I have spent a good hour or so now reading through all the comments and all the information provided in the site. I only go to the bathroom maybe 3 times a week and i know that's not regular. Plus i get really gassy sometimes. So after reading all this i have just purchased my first colon cleanser kit from Dr. Floras.

I did not find any bad comments or negative feedback. Just one but the commenter was a little unreasonable. Many people have commented on how great it is and I am excited to be getting this product. I will check back in once I get it and let everyone know if it is working or not.

Thanks for the great site and always responding to questions in comments Dawn :)

Chris105 writes:

ive never done any cleansing before. can you tell me about any side affects?

Dawn writes:

Chris105, the answer is:
Increased Energy - Improved sleep - Weight Loss - Better Skin - Better Breath... and so on.

Oh, those aren't side effects ;-)

I haven't had side effects. Some people feel bloated initially, but that passes once the cleanse is complete and everything is flushed out.

Bev from Canada writes:

I have recently completed the Dr Floras colon cleanse and I am on the parasite cleanse. I have NEVER been one who thought about my "stools" but as WEIRD as it sounds it was exciting to see the mucoid plaque that came out...starting on the 5th day.

I work full time in Real Estate, but never had any embarassing problems of having to run to the bathroom. I lost 10 pounds and several inches..I first tried it with juices, but found it was so filling I did not want to eat. I then tried it with water, cinnamon water or greatly diluted juices and the bloating feeling went away..the bonus is it is very filling so did not eat as much as usual...also felt intolerant to any greasy or rich sugary foods.

I am definitely going on it again in the new year..feel like I just got started removing the gunk and it was over. Have DEFINITELY recommended it to my friends!!

Dawn writes:

Bev, I am glad you are having great success with it! I wish more people would post their success stories. For every person that posts their success here, there are probably 900 more that also have great results but don't post online. Congratulations on your new found health once again.

Dawn writes:

I wanted to touch on a few topics about my site, since I just went through about 100 different comments.

First, when people post a comment, my site collects their IP address. An IP address is unique to each person's internet connection. It's like your 'online finger print'. This is done for two reasons:

First, it allows me to see if the same person is trying to post under different names. So don't do that, because you are wasting your time. Usually only competitors try to do this to bad mouth a quality product like DrFloras.

Second, I do this to keep real records of the comments posted at my sitein case I ever need to prove that the comments posted here are from real people, and not made up like 99% of the sites out there. The time is soon coming where the FTC is going to clean up the false advertising market, and those sites that have 'fake' testimonials and comments are going to get taken down, and the owners facing hefty fines or even jail time. That will be a great day for us all.

The next thing I want to talk about are the dozens of people who have written in saying they were scammed into buying some unknown cleansing product and an acai product. The sites that promote both of those together are most likely scamming you. You know the ones -- they all offer 'Free Trials for 14 days.'

I have NEVER seen one of those sites with legitimate reviews or real comments.

They are all fake.

I even had one person write in to me to tell me that one of those sites is using her 'before & after' weight loss photos without her permission, and she never used the products mentioned on that site.

Be careful of what you buy online. Most 'Review Sites' are fake. Do some research -- read what others are saying in forums and in blogs, before you buy.

It pains me to get emails from you guys saying you are trying other products (not endorsed here) and you're seeing NO RESULTS. It's not worth trying to save a few buck, when in the end you get a product that doesn't do squat.

That's why I will continue to endorse and promote DrFloras brand products... they work. Take 20 minutes to read through all of these comments and you'll see that others feel the same way.

Sorry for the long rant, but I wanted to get those things off my chest. Ciao

Crystal writes:

I see that you take the product for 15 days but how often do you take it? Every so many months in a year or 15 days per month?

Dawn M writes:

Dawn...do you know how often they recommend you use these products? Is it something a person should stay on all the time or once a month; once every six months? For how long? Is the time frame and dosage different for women and men

Dawn writes:

Dawn M, (nice name BTW), I do not believe it is a good idea to be on a colon cleanse non-stop. Some of the other popular brands tell you that it is OK to use their products perpetually, but I think that is a bad idea.

I would do a full cleanse 3 to 4 times per year at the most, unless you are really abusing your body.

Crystal, I hope this also answered your question.

I would however recommend that you always use the Probiotics product -- it's relatively inexpensive, very gentle, and provides very helpful GOOD bacteria that your body needs to keep your digestive tract running in top form.

Those companies that say you should stay on their products all the time, are just trying to fatten up their bank accounts, at least that is my opinion.

Ellen Orzy writes:

where do I buy DrFloras colon cleanse

Dawn writes:

Ellen, I get about 3 or 4 comments per week asking the same thing. People, is my site confusing? Are the links to the DrFloras.com website not clear?

Just before the comments section start on this page, I included a link to their site. I also included a link to the DrFloras site at the very end of this comment section. If for some reason the links don't work, you can google "DrFloras" and you'll get plenty of reference and review sites as well as their home page where you can order.

DrFloras is only available online and not in retail stores (just in case that was what you meant to ask.)

Kevin B. writes:

Hi Dawn,

Lets see you post this and explain? I clicked on this text ad:

Dual Action Cleanse Scam?
Read The Reviews On Dual Action
Cleanse Before Wasting Your Money
www.ColonCleansingDiaries.com

- and landed on your site.

I found no mention of that product on your site, anywhere. You mention FTC and false advertising in your latest rant.

Does baiting someone with a text ad about a product you dont review but claim to review fall into that same categorie? I was expecting at least one paragraph about the product but found no information whatsoever on your site?

If you attempt to claim that your ad says "read the reviews" not my reivew then how can you claim "before wasting your money?"

I think you might fall into the "fake review" site as well since you only review one product and some how without a single stat comparison you claim it to be the best? Does anyone else reading these comments find if odd that only one product is reviewed here? This is not a diary of colon cleanase products as your URL indicates but one long advertisement for one product only. Please post this comment and your response, the readers should be aware of your bias.

Last comment for all the readers, "So the winner is" implies you actually reviewed more then one product, not the case here.

Fee free to contact me with any information you have on Dual Action Cleanse, since you paid for me to click on your advertisment and I got absolutely nothing for it.

Thanks, I'll be back daily to check for your response.

Dawn writes:

Kevin,

I guess you don't read all my comments here. I post the good and the bad. You can attack me and make false claims against me all you want, but the truth stands out.

Let me try to address your concerns:

I never claimed to review Dual Action Cleanse in that ad. That ad asks people to read reviews on that product before they get caught into the same credit card fiasco that so many people have run into. Don't believe me? Google "Dual Action Cleanse" and look at the top results. You'll see a lot of 'scam busting' type sites listing that product and warning people to stay away.

You then rant on about me not reviewing other products other than DrFloras products? Why should I? Almost all of them are worthless, and mentioning them is only going to give them links to their site, which I never want to do in a million years. I only want my readers to use quality products.

You then accuse me of having a fake review site. I'm probably the ONLY online diaries type site (please point out any others if you can) dedicated to cleansing that posts real comments by real people, and answer real questions as best as I can, as often as I can.

I provide facts on the industry and products, and let people make their own choices. I even mentioned in previous posts that not only do I endorse the DrFloras products, but I find them so good that I have become an affiliate of theirs. I hide nothing from anybody. So how am I fake?

I shouldn't have even posted your comment, but I took great offense by it. You want me to compare one product to others, using stats, just like all the 'FAKE' review sites do. I won't do that. People can trust what they read here, instead of people like you who sound like you might work for another competing company.

And finally, you comment on my text "So the Winner is..." -- I have tried multiple products, and none competes with DrFloras. The winner is a clear choice to me. DrFloras IS the best to me, and thousands of others.

You name a colon cleanse product out there, and I have likely either tried it, or know somebody who has tried it. I know what works and doesn't work on the market. Visitors to my site now know too.

Name one product out there better than DrFloras and that offers a 1 year money back guarantee? Good luck! Nobody other than DrFloras does this. Nobody can -- All of their product would get returned after not working and they would be out of business in months.

Readers, what do you guys think? Am I handing this wrong? What's your opinion?

Christopher writes:

I tried (another cleansing product called) dual action cleanse they made me sick.. They have a no questions asked policy, thats the only part that was true.. No questions no money back. I spent eight more dollars to sent the product back and still got no refund. I would have saved money if i threw them out and took the loss. Stay Away from that product!!

Rosie writes:

Is the DrFloras kit enough for two people or is it one kit per person? Me and my mom want to try this. Also how many times a year should i get my colon cleansed?

Dawn writes:

Rosie, the kit is designed for one person only. You can't split it because there is not enough product to complete the program correctly. That's why there's the TWO kit product. I think the price works out to be just over two dollars per person per day for a 60 day program -- pretty cheap to improve your health.

Cherry Bomb writes:

I'm blown away by reading all of this. I never heard of this before. I am certainly going to try it. I've been sick and burnt out for months and desperate to get well. I'm pretty active and a very healthy eater. But weight loss is difficult and I don't feel good inside. I need to be brought back to health, a single mom of 2 with a very hectic and demanding job requires that! So I'm hoping for a cure!!

CVH writes:

I understand that you endorse Dr Floras, but can have you heard anything about ColonMed 700 which is supposedly one of those free trials promoted or endorsed by Oprah & Rachel Ray? $157.00 plus tax, shipping, and handling sounds pretty steep.

Dawn writes:

CVH, those are all scam sites.

OPRAH and RACHEL RAY do NOT endorse any of those products. If those sites say they do, they are liars, and breaking the law.

The way those sites work is they give you a free trial for 14 days, then they bill you nearly $100 for one little bottle of pills that don't work as claimed, and then they will bill you again (almost $100) the next month, and the month after that. People have written me telling me it's a nightmare to get off their auto billing cycle.

I realize the lure is tempting -- FREE -- you just pay Shipping and Handling. They charge you shipping and handling to get your credit card info so they can hit your card up month after month.

Look for the tiny print on their site on how to cancel your subscription. When you find it, call their phone number and listen to how long you have to wait to cancel. Good luck!

Paulette writes:

the one thing i hate about all of these products you will not send cod. i have no credit card it is very difficult for me to try the product because of this.

Dawn writes:

Hello Paulette,

COD (Cash on delivery) is mostly a thing of the past. With all the new online advancements in payment options, you don't need a credit card to buy things online. If you didn't know, as long as you have a checking account, you can sign up for a PayPal account, and you can buy most things (including DrFloras) online with that. It's super safe and secure and used by millions of people daily. I'm one of them. Good luck.

Lips07 writes:

Resending msg!!! Made a mistake on my email address: I would love to try this product for so many reasons, health related and otherwise. But I really cannot afford to waste my money. I understand about the money back guarantee, but the aggravation of having to return a product due to dissatisfaction, would cause me tremendous stress. And that's one thing I cannot afford to have right now. I'm really skeptical. Has anyone out there, with the same issues as me, tried the product and had to send it back?

Sandra writes:

Lips, I couldn't stand the taste and returned the Dr Floras products I ordered. They were prompt with the refund and I was satisfied.

This is in no way a slam on their product, since my friend uses them with good results and is in fact the reason why I ordered it myself. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the taste no matter what I mixed it in. I'm very picky about that stuff.

If my friend is any indication of what to expect, then you should have really good results.

S. Handy writes:

I am now on the first day of taking the Probiotics. This has been a really different experience.

Dr. Floras products work.

I began passing the mucoid plaque on day 3 and then almost everyday after.

For me, the freaky part came when I began taking the parasite cleanse pills. I looked for the black specs which are some sort of parasite and found them. Some of the black specs were larger than others. On day 5, I also found some round, white looking things (parasite larva or some other parasite?). Seeing the white, round thingies freaked me out more than the mucoid plaque. Yesterday was day 15 of the parasite cleanse. Today I still noticed some black specs, though not as many and I did not notice any white, round things.

I am very pleased with the products because they do what they say they will do. I suffer with reflux and I feel 100% better.

My stomach is flatter and I am sleeping better. I am pleased to have found a product that works.

Sheree Jordan writes:

Hi Dawn... This is my 2nd time coming back to your sight and reading all the comments. I have never done a colon cleanse before but I have IBS, Diverticular plus some more problems. I have been researching all the different colon cleansers out there and I have decided that Dr Floras would be my best option. My only concern is that I take several prescription medications, for high blood pressure, anxiety, hormones, pain, etc... I read the comment from MsLady and she was asking about taking Hoodia Prime while taking Dr Floras. I don't take Hoodia Prime but my other meds are important, I have copied what you said to MsLady...

Reply from Dawn to MsLady: "MsLady, yes, you can take them together, but not at the same time. The DrFloras cleanse will absorb any of the Hoodia Prime you take if you do them together. It will do this with any other supplement or medication you take."

I didn't fully understand what you meant by this of taking them at the same time but not together. Do you mean like taking them a few hours apart? Could you elaborate on this a little more? I just want to make sure that I can still take my medications. Also, another question, when you get cleaned out for a colonoscopy, does that not get all the bad stuff out? Of all I have read on all the other sites and their claims, Dr Floras is what I found to be the best. Thanks for all the help you have on this site! I will wait until I hear back from you before I order the product. Thanks again!

Dawn writes:

Sheree, because of the medications you take, you absolutely should consult with your physician. Keep in mind that the DrFloras colon cleanse is a thorough cleanser, and it will not know the difference between bad toxic build up and a medication capsule that is not natural to your body. All will be swept clean.

So if you are going to take any capsules or pills while doing the cleanse, you need to space them out far enough from when you take the cleansing shake. I would say at least 3 to 4 hours. So if you take your medication first thing in the morning at 7am, then I wouldn't drink a cleansing shake until at least 11am. Again, check with your physician since you take some pretty serious pills.

About Me: I have used and recommended DrFloras since before having this website, and highly recommend it to others. I am so passionate about the product and how well it can improve the lives of those that use it, that I have signed up to provide order links to the DrFloras site whereby it pays me on sales I refer, which in turn help keep this site alive and warn others about the total garbage that is out there. I don't work for DrFloras, nor is this site owned by them. I choose to promote the product that I use (and I have tried everything out there). In order to protect my privacy (after all this is a private subject), I use the pseudonym "Dawn." That is not my real name and the picture above is not mine. While I do want to share my positive experience using DrFloras with the world, I don't want people coming up to me in the grocery store telling me about their mucoid plaque.
